PST's Drag Racing 1480 Carbon Fiber Driveshaft

Precision Shaft Technologies has completed development of their carbon fiber 1480 Pro Mod driveshaft. The product is tested to over 3,500 foot-pounds of torque, to withstand the violent environment of Pro Mod racing. The 7075 billet 1480 yokes are manufactured with attention to stress points that are susceptible in driveline failures. Solid u-joints are installed and balanced electronically to insure smooth operation to 10,000 rpm’s.

PST has over 15 years experience building carbon fiber shafts and produces more custom carbon fiber racing shafts than all competitors combined. The introduction of the 1480 shaft compliments the full range of drag racing shafts from 1040 steel and 3.5″ 6061 aluminum for Sportsmen and bracket classes to the chromoly, 4″ aluminum and 1350 carbon fiber shafts, that are SFI certified.

In 2010 PST is offering a “PEP” extended warranty program, which insures your carbon fiber shaft against breakage without regard to fault of the failure.
