This 2” steel driveshaft is the right choice for strength and reliability if you are looking to fit the shaft into a narrow corridor, or you have limited horsepower needs. Perfect for circle track racers, this driveshaft is rated up to 500 horsepower and is designed and built to take the punishment that comes with rigorous circle track racing.
This 2-inch 1020 DOM (drawn over mandrel) steel shaft is for applications with a driveshaft measurement (Dimension X) of 44 inches or less. Looking for a driveshaft longer than 44”? You’ll need a wider diameter. We also produce steel driveshafts in 2.5”, 3.0”, and 3.5”. Have questions? Give us a call and we’re happy to help you with the measurement or driveshaft choice.

• Factory-straightened tubing built to a .005” total turnout at the center
• Tube yokes welded to within a .004” runout on each end
• Shafts are computer balanced to less than a ⅛ ounce/inch variance as an assembly

To make sure we engineer the best shaft for your needs, we’ll need to know:
• Seal-to-center dimension (see Dimension “X” in Step 3 of our measurement guide)
• Rear U-joint size
• Maximum RPM
• Maximum horsepower
• Transmission type
The standard finish for this shaft is a high-gloss black, but let us know if you prefer to apply your own paint. Keep in mind that this driveshaft is not available with 1350-Series joints.
