Challenger Hellcat
PST is excited to offer custom hand-crafted Dodge Challenger Hellcat for drag racing applications rated to 1,200+ horsepower. Reliable and insanely strong, Precision Shaft Technologies brings its 30 years in the high performance driveshaft business and 15 years working with carbon fiber technology to the new Hellcats. The most popular choice for the Hellcat crowd is the 4″ Aluminum Shaft, as they offer the strength and durability necessary for those 4,000+ RPM launches. The standard cast steel flange is a good choice for street applications where the shock load is minimal. For Hellcats on the drag strip, we do recommend our aluminum forged flange. All shafts are fitted with 1350 Solid U-joints.
There are two choices for our Hellcat driveshafts, either a 3.75” Carbon Fiber driveshaft or a 4” Aluminum driveshaft. The Carbon Fiber driveshaft has no comparison. It is rated to 1,200 horsepower and a maximum RPM of 9,500. The 4” Aluminum driveshaft is rated for 1,200 horsepower but only 6,200 RPM. PST is currently working on technology to push the Carbon Fiber driveshaft to 1,500+ horsepower. If you need a horsepower application that high, give us a call and request it.
